Keep in mind, the longer you let an egg sit in the dye, the darker the egg will become.
Get creative with your dye:
- Wrap the egg with rubberbands or make a design with a white wax crayon to leave un-dyed parts.
- Hold half your egg in one color, let it dry and then hold the other half in another color.

Wait for your dyed egg to dry completely. Let your imagination run wild, and add designs and patterns using any variety of the following:
- paints
- ribbons
- sequins
- glitter
- lace
- colored foil
- felt tip pens
- fabric scraps
- tissue paper
