Grocery List
Yield: Makes 4 servings.
You can serve these cocoa snowballs in either ice cream cones or dishes.

Tools
Measuring cups
Baking sheet
Wooden spoon
Ice cream scoop or large spoon
4 dessert dishes

Ingredients Amounts
chocolate-flavored crisp rice cereal 1/2 cup
coconut 1/4 cup
chopped nut topping 1/4 cup
ice cream (any flavor) 1 Pint

Method
  1. In the medium mixing bowl, put the cereal, coconut, and nut topping. Stir with the wooden spoon to mix.
  2. Use the ice cream scoop or large spoon to scoop 4 balls of ice cream. Drop each ice cream ball, one at a time, into the cereal mixture. Roll the ice cream ball around in the cereal mixture until it is coated. You will need to work quickly so the ice cream doesn't melt. Place the ice cream balls on the baking sheet. Place them in the freezer until serving time.
  3. To serve, place a cocoa snowball in each dessert dish.
