Yield: Makes 4 servings.
   
Tools

Ice cream scoop or large spoon  
Small spoon  
Table knife  
4 dessert dishes  
   
Ingredients Amounts
soft oatmeal cookies (2 to 3 inches in size) 4
butterscotch, chocolate, or caramel ice cream topping 1/4 cup
banana, small 1
vanilla or chocolate ice cream
2 cups
peanuts 1/4 cup
   
Method
  1. Break oatmeal cookies into small pieces. Arrange a layer of cookie pieces in the bottom of each dessert dish. With the small spoon, put some of the ice cream topping over the cookie pieces. Save the rest of the topping for later.
  2. Peel and slice the banana using the table knife. Arrange some banana slices in each dessert dish.
  3. Use the ice cream scoop or large spoon to place ice cream into each dessert dish. Spoon the remaining ice cream topping over the ice cream. Sprinkle each serving with some peanuts.
  4. Top each dessert with pressurized whipped dessert topping, if you like. Serve right away.
