Yield: 4 portions
Ingredients Amounts
Shortening 1/3 cup
Butter 1/4 cup
Sugar, granulated 1/2 cup
Sugar, brown, packed 1/2 cup
Egg 1 ea.
Vanilla 1 tsp.
Flour 1 1/3 cup
Baking Soda 1/2 tsp.
Salt 1/2 tsp.
Chocolate chips 1 cup
   
Toppings  
Marshmallows 1/4 cup
Nuts, chopped 1/2 cup
Peanut butter chips, white chips, or mini-M&M's 1/2 cup
   
Method
  1. In a large bowl mix shortening, butter and sugars until smooth.
  2. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  3. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt.
  4. Add chocolate chips.
  5. Spread dough evenly in an ungreases 14" pizza pan. Cover with plastic wrap and label.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  7. Bake 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and add on toppings.
  9. Return to oven for 6-8 minutes. Cool slightly and cut with pizza cutter.
