- Arrange chicken, skin side up, on the rack of a broiler pan.
Broil 6 - 8 inches from heat browning each side.
- Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients.
- Remove chicken and baste with sauce. Continue to broil for
10 or more minutes on each side, basting frequently with sauce,
until cooked.
Note: This is the Hawaiian version of barbecued chicken. The
chicken is traditionally grilled. Huli huli means "to turn"
in Hawaiian and refers to turning the chicken on the grill.
Country-style, baby back or pork spare ribs may also be used.
