Ingredients Amounts
All Purpose Flour 1 cup
Soup Stock (Dashi) 3/4 cup
Eggs 1 ea.
Cabbage 1/4 of a small cabbage
Toppings:  
Okonomiyaki Sauce (or tonkatsu sauce)  
Mayonnaise  

Additional Optional Toppings:

 
Thinly Sliced Pork or Beef  
Katsuo-bushi (dried bonito flakes)  
Shrimps/Dried Shrimps (sakura-ebi)  
Ao-nori (green seaweed)  
 
Methods:

1. Cut the cabbage into very thin slices.

2. Beat the egg in a bowl and add the dashi soup stock to it. Add in flour and mix well. Combine the sliced cabbage into the mixture.

3. Fry your additional toppings (pork/beef, shrimps) in a medium frying pan.

4. Split the toppings into two piles in the frying pan, pour the mixture over each pile, creating two pancakes.

5. Cook the pancakes a few minutes, flip and continue to cook a few minutes more.

6. Remove pancakes from frying pan.

7. Put okonomiyaki sauce and mayonnaise on top of the pancakes.

8. Sprinkle katsuobushi flakes, aonori, or beni-shoga on top.
