Print Recipe
Grocery List
5 Portions

Ingredients Amounts
Butter 1 oz
Onions, diced

2 oz

Garlic, chopped .5 oz
Tasso, fine julienne (sliced in strips) 1.5 oz
Green Beans, precooked and cleaned 1 lb
Salt and pepper to taste

Method

In a sauté pan (frying pan or skillet will work as well) melt butter, add onions and cook on low heat with the pan covered, until translucent. Add garlic and tasso and cover and cook until moist, about 10 minutes.

Add tasso mixture and beans into a frying pan with a small amount of chicken stock and heat through. Adjust seasonings to taste.

** If you are unable to find Tasso in your local grocery store, a good quality ham could be substituted. **
