Decrease your intake of soda and juice. One 8 oz. glass of either one has approximately 100 calories. Drink milk with meals instead.
Plan a nutritious snack between meals. This will help prevent over-eating at meal time.
Choose nutrient dense foods such as fresh fruit, yogurt, cottage cheese, or thinly sliced cheese with a few crackers as your snack.
