Ingredients Amounts
Apples, roughly chopped
4 cups
Milk, 2% 1/2 cup
Vanilla extract 11/2 tsp.
Thyme, finely chopped 1/4 cup
Cinnamon, (optional) 1/2 tsp.
Butter 1/2 Tbsp.
   
Method


1. Heat a medium saucepan on medium heat and allow butter to melt.
2. Pour in apples and milk, mixing frequently. Let cook for 10 minutes on medium heat, so apples are soft, but still chunky.
3. Mix in vanilla extract and thyme, so the thyme spreads evently throughout the apples. Let simmer for 3 minutes.
4. Serve hot and sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
