Strawberry Jam

Yield: 7 cups

What you need to get started:

2 quarts of strawberries
1/4 cup of lemon juice
1 cup of corn syrup
4 1/2 cups of sugar

Let's put it together:

Wash the strawberries and crush them in a large bowl.
Mix with 1/4 cup lemon juice, and 2 oz. package of dry pectin.
Keep stirring the mixture for 5 minutes. Let stand for 30 minutes. This will completely dissolve the pectin.
Add 1-cup light corn syrup. Stir it in well.
Add 4 1/2 cups sugar - GRADUALLY.
Refrigerate.
